  • Alpine Concludes Opening Weekend of Racing

    The Middlebury alpine team concluded its portion of the St. Lawrence Carnival on Saturday at Whiteface, while the nordic squad got underway at Mt. Van Hoevenberg. Middlebury is currently in third place with 567 points, with Dartmouth (684) leading and UVM (628) second. Action concludes on Sunday with nordic races in Lake Placid, New York.
  • Alpine Team Opens Season at St. Lawrence Carnival

    The Middlebury alpine ski team kicked of the carnival portion of its 2019 season at St. Lawrence. Due to high winds and cold temperatures, the GS was moved to Saturday with the slalom races taking place on Friday. Races are taking place on Whiteface Mountain in Lake Placid, New York.
  • 2019 Alpine Skiing Season Preview

    The Middlebury alpine ski team returns all of its racers on the women's side from a year ago, while the men must fill three spots lost to graduation. Last year's team results saw the Panthers come on strong with third-place finishes in the final three carnivals of the season prior to NCAA competition. Middlebury qualified five of six potential racers to the NCAA Championships in Colorado, where the team finished eighth overall.
