Bartlett & Arvidsson Earn All-American Accolades

Two Middlebury skiers recently earned All-American honors by virtue of their finishes at the 2018 NCAA Skiing Championships in Colorado. Junior Caroline Bartlett (London, Ont.) and first-year racer Erik Arvidsson (Woodside, Calif.) each accomplished the feat with impressive finishes in their respective races.

Bartlett's top performance came in the women's giant slalom race last Wednesday. She finished the race with a two-run combined time of 1:53.57, which placed her in a fourth-place tie after owning the top time during her first run.

Arvidsson best effort came in Friday night's slalom race. He sat in seventh place after the first run, before earning the fifth-fastest time in his second trip down the hill. Arvidsson finished with a two-run time of 1:21.75 to earn his fourth-place finish.
